Hady THIS!!

Letting everyone in on a tiny secret.
I was bidding on some charity auction and got this Hehe.... I start bidding just to help push up the price, and if I win, I'll be more than glad to contribute myself. Unfortunately, the ending contribution for this item wasn't very high, but I bought a few other things and made a total contribution of $295. Even I've amazed by myself how much I've contributed, but well, all for charity. =) Hope they will make good use of the money.

That's it!

She did it again, calling me a fool again. The big fool calling me a fool. I have endured enough, being called a fool by her again and again. It hitted my triggering point today, and I finally retailiate. I finally gave it to her, no matter that she'a a female. I normally won't do this, but she is just too much. I had warned her before, but the insults kept coming. She forced me to. 佛也会发火的,didn't she know this? I may be good-natured, but don't climb over my head, cause I can blow up like a volcano too.
I don't like to call people names, especially those insulting ones, but I will retailiate when somebody does that to me, so don't try that on me. I have been a victim of name-callings since young, since I'm a bit rounder than my peers, so I totally understand the agony it cause to the person when such insulting names are used, and that is why I do not call people names, unless in retailiation. She must have too good a life not to realise that, but I hope she'll realise that from today.

Inequality?

Was reading these articles in the papers about those traffic wardens who catch people driving into bus lanes. Then started to get me thinking, does these bus operators pay a higher road tax to 'book' these lanes for themselves during peak hours, or even the entire day as in Orchard? No doubt most of the bus services carry more people than cars, but does it justify for a government body to set rules in such a way that the who gains the most is the bus operators? Everyone is rushing to work in the morning, yet they have to close 1 out of 3 lanes for the buses, causing long jams on the other 2 lanes, which results in people going into the bus lanes and risk getting a $130 fine. I would agree to bus lanes if it is for a public, not-for-profit organisation, but having rules like these benefits the bus operators whose profits are already in hundreds of millions annually.

".....Regardless of race, language or religion, to build a democratic society, based on Justice and Equality......"

Equality? Seems like things are tilted to the big companies who are rich. Even small companies like where I'm working are being 'suppressed' by the biggest groceries retailer when we want to increase our price, which had stayed at this level since the 80's.
More and more grocery shops owned by locals are closing down, yet more and more supermarkets owned by foreigners are opening up. And with more outlets, their bargaining power increase and prices are pushed down, which forced the small local grocery stores to close down. And where does all the profit goes? Back to their home country I presume. What a vicious cycle...
Fares hikes were approved recently for the train and bus operators, even when they are earning money that few human can earn or even dream of in a lifetime.
So where's the equality?

The world is about making use of each other?

I really appreciate those people who could give their all to help those in need. I have a friend who gave up her office job to become a special needs teacher. Her salary was halved, and she had to attend lessons all over again to become a qualified teacher. And in her free time, she would be out there volunteering for some other charity. She's simply 1 amazing lady.

And yet there is another friend, who is getting 2K a month, getting quarterly bonuses of about 1K, and complaining she earns too little. She says she don't want her parents to suffer(?), suffering when her father is earning over 5K a month, living in a big house, and having enough excess cash to buy her a car?

See the BIG difference in thinking? The returns? One gaining spiritual happiness, while the other going for monetary "perceived-happiness". Which one is better? I know which, how about you?

I just can't get it, or is it simply some people can't get it? I help my friends(more girls than guys since that is the proportion of my friends) and some people says I'm being fooled by them. It is as if I am that stupid to not recognise what I am doing, and what I am expecting in return(nothing that is). So helping a friend without expecting any returns is making a fool of yourself? Then what are friends for?

So am I the fool, or the person who says I am is the fool?

"The world is about making use of each other, it's just a matter of how much you expect in return."

Quote

Just read this from a friend's blog:
....she said before when you are working, you need to have "Bo Le",
someone who guide you, lead you and teach you....

I think I need one too, but there isn't one who really can....
